Horde baseball loses to league leader

baseballAs their season came to a close, Horde baseball players suffered a 3-1 home loss to Greenwich on Monday.

Greenwich entered the game as the first place team in the Wasaren League and was able to keep that title with pitcher Cori Winch striking out 14 from Granville and allowing no walks.

The score was tied at the top of the seventh, but Nate Passino’s RBI put Greenwich ahead by two, and the Horde was not able to catch up.
