A local woman was arrested on Friday for allegedly violating an order of protection, the second such offence recently.

Cindy Fitzpatrick, 39, of Brookdale Avenue, was charged with second-degree criminal contempt, a misdemeanor.

She is accused of entering and remaining on the premises of a victim who had an order of protection against her. The arrest is Fitzpatrick’s second in the last three weeks.

On July 18, she was arrested and charged with second-degree reckless endangerment and second-degree criminal contempt, both misdemeanors.

During that incident, she was accused of swerving her vehicle at a juvenile family member. The family member had an order of protection against Fitzpatrick.

In both instances, Fitzpatrick was issued tickets to appear in court at a later date.

The most recent incident was investigated by Whitehall Police Sgt. Richard LaChapelle.
