The Nature Conservancy will present “On the Scent of the Adirondack Moose” starting at 6:30 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 23, at Whitehall Cental School.
Heidi Kretser, the group’s Livelihoods and Conservation Coordinator will the discuss the resurgence of moose in the region. he will also discuss how her group is using working dogs to sniff out moose scat, which contains genetic information. She will also talk about keeping forested land connected so the moose can move around.
The talk is free and open to the public. It will be held in the Large Group Instruction room.
