Colleen E. Renaud, 72

 

 

Colleen E. Renaud, 72, of State Route 4, passed away on April 16, 2008 at the Health Park Medical Center in Fort Meyers, Fla., following a long battle with cancer.

 

 

Born on Oct., 18, 1935 in Vergennes, Vt., she was the daughter of the late Eugene and Dorothy (Wimmett) Cenate.

 

Colleen loved her animals, going on vacations and playing bingo.

 

Besides her parents, she is predeceased by one sister, Elizabeth Cenate, and one brother, Eugene Cenate II.

 

She is survived by her husband, Francis Renaud, Sr., of Whitehall, one son, Francis Renaud, Jr., of Whitehall, one daughter, Jeanie Ehntholt and her husband, John, of Granville, an ex-son-in-law, Bruce Towle of Fair Haven, Vt.; two sisters, Arlene Baker of South Glens Falls, and Freda Arquette of Whitehall; one brother, Eugene Cenate III of Granville; four grandchildren Christopher and Jennifer Renaud, Bradley Towle and his wife, Jill and their son, Anthony Towle and Logan Ehntholt; and several nieces and nephews.

 

A funeral service was conducted on April 22 at the Jillson Funeral Home, Inc., 46 Williams Street in Whitehall, with the Rev. John Chamberlin officiating.

 

Interment followed in Greenmount Cemetery in Whitehall

 

Family and friends called at the funeral home on April 21.
